Alan initially studied Sports Science (1983-7) at West london Institute-now part of Brunel and West London and then went on to work in the Health Club Industry resulting in managing the Marina Club in Bahrain. In conjunction with this Squash was playing a major role in his life, playing for Richmond Town Squash Club and playing in the Bundesliga in Germany. In 1989 Alan became Bahrain Open Squash Champion. When returning to the UK in 1989. he went on too Squash coaching and becoming a Personal Trainer which he continued until 1996. This all led to an interest in Sports Injuries and their Rehabilitation and hence why he studied at the prestigious BSO-British School of Osteopathy(1992-96( in London (now the University College of Osteopathy) where from 1997 until 2009 he was a Clinical Tutor.
Alan now specialises in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation and works closely with Surrey County Crickets first Team.
Alan still participates in regular sports especially Road cycling and High Altitude Mountaineering having completed 2 24hr cycling challenges and climbed Kilimanjaro(6000m),Aconcagua(7000m) and Trekked to everest base camp Nov 2019 (5340m).
Since 2003 Alan has been running the Multi-Disciplinary Clinic at Streatham Osteopaths and running another private Clinic at a GP’S surgery in Gloucester rd-Central London.
