Alan initially studied Sports Science (1983-7) at West london Institute-now part of Brunel and West London and then went on to work in the Health Club Industry resulting in managing the Marina Club in Bahrain. In conjunction with this Squash was playing a major role in his life, playing for Richmond Town Squash Club and playing in the Bundesliga in Germany. In 1989 Alan became Bahrain Open Squash Champion. When returning to the UK in 1989. he went on too Squash coaching and becoming a Personal Trainer which he continued until 1996. This all led to an interest in Sports Injuries and their Rehabilitation and hence why he studied at the prestigious BSO-British School of Osteopathy(1992-96( in London (now the University College of Osteopathy) where from 1997 until 2009 he was a Clinical Tutor.
Alan now specialises in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation and works closely with Surrey County Crickets first Team.
Alan still participates in regular sports especially Road cycling and High Altitude Mountaineering having completed 2 24hr cycling challenges and climbed Kilimanjaro(6000m),Aconcagua(7000m) and Trekked to everest base camp Nov 2019 (5340m).
Since 2003 Alan has been running the Multi-Disciplinary Clinic at Streatham Osteopaths and running another private Clinic at a GP’S surgery in Gloucester rd-Central London.

Justin studied at The British School of Osteopathy where he gained his Masters Degree, and has since Qualified as a Medical Acupuncturist. He has also completed Post Graduate courses in Human Biomechanics.
He became interested in Osteopathy having sustained a chronic neck injury following a motorcycle accident. From school and early 20’s he played competitive Rugby both here and in Hong Kong and was also a keen Rower.
Justin has worked in a variety of Clinical settings and now works at Streatham Osteopaths on a Monday and Thursdays. His special areas of interest include the treatment of the Neck, Shoulder and the Lower Limb generally, in both the Sporty and Non-Sporty population.
He works at Streatham Osteopaths on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Asiah graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (Formerly the BSO) with an Integrated Masters Degree, and like Alan and Justin is also a qualified Medical Acupuncturist (Dry Needling)
She has a special interest in Womens Health, Nutrition and Visceral Osteopathy, and has completed clinical studies in the fields of Sports Injuries and Osteopathy and the Elderly.
She speaks fluent Urdu and Punjabi and has a keen interest in the practice of henna and Dance.
She currently works at Streatham Osteopaths on a Monday and Saturday.”

Francesca qualified as an osteopath in 2000 and worked mostly in Cambridge for the following 8 years in an osteopathic practice treating a wide range of patients ranging from infants and babies to the elderly, those needing help during pregnancy and sports people, including from disciplines such as rowing, running, golf and equestrianism.
Francesca has undergone postgraduate training in a variety of areas including cranio-sacral Osteopathy (especially for babies and children), visceral work with Dr Steve Sandler and lymphatic work with Bruno J. Chikly,MD, DO (France).
Francesca has a background in equestrianism which led to her introduction to osteopathy through the treatment of competition horses; Francesca has now returned to riding and attends every few weeks at Wildwoods riding centre at Walton on the Hill (which comes highly recommended!). Francesca continues with her running, having previously taken part in the Great North and South runs (2 different years of course!) and the Bath half marathon.
Francesca is also involved at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) where she is Head of Clinical Practice and an Academic Lecturer. Francesca is registered with all major health insurers.
Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Robin’s First Degree was in Business at Cardiff and then started the 5 year TCM Degree at Middlesex University which was run in conjunction with Beijing University. This meant that half of his final year was spent at 2 of Beijing’s largest TCM Hospitals!
Robin graduated with a first Class Degree and the Association of TCM(ACTM) has expressed an interest in publishing his Dissertation on Acupuncture and Blood Pressure.
Robin also has a keen interest in the treatment of Sport Injuries as a result of his extensive participation and teaching of Shaolin Kung-Fu,and teaching of Tai-Chi and Chi Kung. Robin has also completed Post Graduate training in Advanced TCM Dermatology specialising in the treatment of Psoriasis Acne and Perioral Dermatitis. He has also completed Post Grad training in Pain Management with Auricular Acupuncture(Ear). This is especially aimed at sudden trauma/injuries/long term pain and in the treatment of Migraines/Tension or Cluster Headaches.

From 1998-2001 Justin studied Sports Science at Luton University, and at the same time qualified as a Massage Practitioner from the Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies.He then completed 3 years of a 5 year Osteopathic Degree at The London School of Osteopathy. Over the last 20 years Justin has completed many areas of study including Myofascial Release, Harmonic Technique,Muscle Energy, Deep Tissue,Lymphatic Drainage, Spinal Manipulation,Cranial Release and Reflexology. Justin is also a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Tai Chi and Chi Gong which has allowed him to incorporate Mindfulness, Relaxation, Breathing Techniques,Diet and Strength and Conditioning into his sessions! Justin is also an Honary Complementary Therapist at Whipps Cross and St Barts Hospitals in the Cancer and Palliative Care Departments.
Justin therefore sees his role as a facilitator in his patients innate ability to heal itself incorporating his quite unique and extensive knowledge acquired over many years of constant study and practice.

Paul’s career in the Health and Fitness industry spans more than 28 years. He is currently in the role of Sports Therapist & Sports Masseur for Herne Hill Harriers in Tooting and for Old Thorntonians FC. He is also their fitness trainer. Paul is also the Lecturer/Assessor for many BTEC courses including Sports Massage/Nutrition and Sports Development.
His own special sporting interests are martial Arts, namely Kung Fu, 3rd Degree Black Belt and Karate, 2nd Dan Black Belt.

Meriel’s first degree was in Sociology and Social Policy at Royal Holloway University, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Managing Major Projects at the National Centre for Project Management. After working as a Diversity and Equality Executive with the UK Film Council, Meriel changed career paths and qualified as a Clinical Reflexologist from the Reflexology Academy London, in September 2015.
Meriel takes a holistic approach to working with clients and uses Reflexology to assist the body in restoring itself and maintaining inner balance. Reflexology is a complimentary therapy that can be used alongside allopathic medicine. By applying pressure to reflexes on the feet that map via the nervous system to corresponding areas, glands and organs in the body, good health is promoted.
Reflexology stimulates relaxation, can improve blood and lymph circulation, release toxins, reduce pain, sooth, help with hormonal imbalance and encourage overall healing and the restoration of balance within the body. Reflexology can also be used for post-operative or palliative care.
